Subject: How to Promote Organic Food

Dear Sir and Madam,

Introduction

The aim of this report is to outline who our main customers are and their eating habits. Additionally, I will also suggest some strategies to attract more young customers.

Results

According to data from the UK Food Agency, the primary demographic for organic food consumption is people aged 39-48, who account for 30% of consumers. People aged 29-38 make up the second-largest group, representing 20%. Furthermore, approximately one-fifth of customers fall within the age range of 49-58, while only 15% are older. Finally, people aged 9-29 account for around 15% of organic food consumers.

Eating Habits of Young People

Many young people tend to consume more fast food and convenience food rather than taking the time to chop vegetables and cook their meals themselves. This may be because it has become easier to grab something to eat nowadays, which means they do not need to put in the effort of cooking. If one can simply warm up a convenience food for 5 minutes and have dinner ready, why would one bother making food from scratch, which could take over 30 minutes to cook?

Strategy to Promote Organic Food

A possible strategy to encourage young people to consume organic food is to offer them not only organic food, but also ready-to-eat meals made with that food. This could be a completely new product, but it is worth trying since it gives young people the option to have something healthy and ready to eat without the hassle of preparing it themselves.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I strongly recommend expanding the product range so that we can reach a wider range of consumers with different needs.
