Cyberbullying - a serious problem nowadays

Hello everyone,

Have you ever heard about cyberbullying? As more and more young people have access to the internet and social media, the situation is getting worse, especially among teenagers. As a teenager who also uses social media, I’d like to write a blog about this problem since it has become an urgent topic recently.

First of all, cyberbullying means bullying on the internet, a virtual world where you can talk about anything without letting anyone know who you actually are. Just because it’s so easy to stay anonymous, many people do things that they wouldn’t do in real life, such as hurting other people. So, I believe that’s why cyberbullying has become a concern.

I think one of the reasons why some people bully others could be that they have also been bullied in real life and want to let off this feeling. But they’re afraid of the people who actually bullied them, so what they can do is to bully people on the internet. Another reason why people bully others is because they don’t know the person that they’re bullying. I guess it’s easier for them to bully a stranger without having any feeling of guilt.

To me, the best way to prevent cyberbullying is to stop the anonymity of the internet so that people will be afraid to be found out that they bullied others because every post, comment, and everything we publish on the internet will be collected and it is hard to completely remove.

To sum up, I think cyberbullying is a very serious problem, but it can definitely be stopped. So, what’s your mind on the issue? What do you think about this topic? Feel free to leave a comment below!
